Scope of Application ZJH Roots vacuum pump with overflow valve is the upgraded fourth generation new product developed on the basis of original ZJ and ZJP. It makes use of the inhaling and exhausting functions resulted from the constant contrarotation of a pair of 8-shaped rotators in the pump cavity. Each rotator is born by two bearings. By using a pair of synchronous gears, the relative location of both gears is held the line. There is gap between rotators, between rotator and pump body, and between rotator and lateral cover, therefore, there is no friction in the working cavity and no lubrication is required. Reliable clearance-eliminating structure is adopted for the bearing of the rotator of the pump. High precision helical gear whose dynamic balance is controlled by computer is used in the blade. This vacuum pump runs stably and makes low noise. It is even more reliable in use and can run for long time under high differential pressure. Part of dynamic seal is specially sealed with the patent products of our company, which assures oil free, water free and leakage free in the pump cavity, thereby solved the big problem of Roots pump (gear oil enters the pump cavity; water is inhaled to the pump and gear and oil leaks). Therefore, it guarantees a longer service life of gear and bearing. A deadweight valve is installed between the air inlet and outlet of this type of pumps. When pressure difference between the air inlet and outlet is larger than the deadweight of the valve, the valve will open automatically. This pressure is the maximal pressure difference for the reliable working of the pump. Therefore, the Roots pump with overflow valve can prevent overload automatically. ZJH Roots vacuum pump has greater pumping rate under rather low inlet pressure and has automatic overload-prevention function. But, due to the dry gap seal structure adopted in this pump, the pressure of the fore-pump must be reduced in order to obtain a certain pumping rate and vacuum degree and reduce backflow. Therefore, fore vacuum pumps must be coupled with this vacuum pump while in use. When the vacuum degree of fore-pump is pumped to 0/08mpa~0.09mpa, Roots vacuum pump can be started up. Different fore-pumps can be selected according to actual need, for example, claw-typed oil free pump, screw pump, 2H plunger pump, 2X rotary vane pump, water ring pump (vertical oil free pump) and different ultimate vacuum degree will be acquired. When water ring pump is served as a fore-pump, it is especially suitable for cases where there is lots of condensable gas.
